Hey my readers !! Last Saturday , my friend and i went to visit the Singapore Polytechnic Open House . Our jaws literally dropped the moment we stepped in , IT'S IS HUGE , SPACIOUS and REALLY WIDE . There are a total of 5 schools compromising of applied science , business , informatics , design and engineering and arts . My 1st reaction is IT's totally LIKE A SHOPPING MALL AND NOT A SCHOOL . We didn't visit every corner of the school as it's really big . Not just that . There were like 5 FOOD courts catering food just like the ones Koufu and Kopitiam . 
Oh yeah , Singapore Polytechnic has Koufu at the basement . Not only that , there's also Macdonalds , KFC , Subway , Starbucks and Pizza Hut . Okays Food aside what utmost important is the course that you're choosing . I have already some courses in mind . Biotechnology , Pharmaceutical Science , Business Information Technology , Accounting And Finance , Logistics Management . I'm not cut out for design nor arts . I'm definitely enrolling in an polytechnic no matter how i fare in my Os . Junior college ? I'm not studious nor diligient . Anyways ,
tomorrow's the O Level Results Day . Best of luck ! JUDGEMENT DAY !

Bag packs ready . new pair of shoes and finally THE NEW YEAR ! It really feels weird as an Secondary 5 student . I'm the oldest AND the senior OF the school . But it also feels great as YOUR LIKE THE oldest brother , no one lower will dare to tease you , mess with you and somehow you're treated like real adults in school . hey 17 years old already ! how old is that ? Yes i feel really old . Age of 17 wearing an set of ironed uniform , tidy haircuts , proper pants and shoes . Oh wait , the backpack . *Regrets* If only i studied diligently during my primary school leaving examinations , i might have the last laugh in school . Man , so envious of the express stream students . The end of N's is the start of O's . We tease them a little 
Like : Hey O levels ? Please la . Today our last paper . ! After that go catch a movie , pool and swim THIS ROUNDS up A CHALET . Then the express students will be Like :  How i wish my life was yours now . But now WHO has the last laugh . Not us but them ! The Na's have to stay back another grueling year for O's . For them , planning to have their hair dyed , new life and skills . That's for polytechnics . Junior colleges No . But they have an advantage in enrolling in an university  . Junior college for me ? Nope . I'm not a studious nor a diligent student . Just a simpleton who studies for the sake of it and wants to get what he wants . This is my final year and yeah i'll make the best out of it !

Hey to my readers out there ! Happy new year !! I know it's a bit late though . 2010 has been a great year for me . My family , schoolmates and my colleagues had played an role in making this year great for me . Somehow 2010 has changed me in my attitude towards my school work and the value of money . Because this world is practical , no qualifications = you're nothing in this society . My English teacher stresses on that very much to us to realise the importance of studying . And the value of money ? I only realise the real value of money after i slogged out for straight 2 grueling months .

Remember ? If i passed my 'N' Levels results , i would blog ? Yeah , i achieved an above average score of 13 Points for my EMB3 .
English Maths and best 3 . I was rather surprised that the subjects that i think will score better are the ones were disappointing  . But the least expectations were the unexpected ones . English was unexpected , i got an A2 ( Expectation was B3 ) , Maths B3 unexpected ( expectation B4 ) ,
Combined Science (  Physics , Chemistry ) A2 ( Expectations A1 ) , Combined Humanities ( History , Social Studies ) B3 ( I thought i would fail , my social studies was horrendous ) Principle Of Accounts was the real disappointment . I have to ace it no matter what an A1 = B3 . Complacency or just pure carelessness ? There's somewhat ups and downs in my results . I'm neither happy nor sad . Just felt that i could scored even better maybe 11 Points ?

Hey ! For today's post . i want to share about my colleagues . All of us have a part to play in managing the restaurant . During this grueling month of work . The post that i was always give is either the server or the charcoal sender . But if you are just a new trainee that just applied for a job . The 1st post would be " FLOOR " This term substitutes plates clearing , pouring of soup and turnovers . Everyone has to go through that first in order to climb other types of post  . For example Beverage counter man , Charcoal cook/sender , Stock Up & Floor . So far i'm always the one posted to floor or charcoal sender and sometimes even multi tasking both at the same time . I'm not complaining but rather liking these 2 posts . The best part of floor is when the customer leaves , turnover has to be done and sanitaising and for charcoal sender , would be resting outside the charcoal room looking at the jetty anchored with yatches after you had sent to the respective tables . Worse parts of these posts is

Customers very demanding ( Don't like this table , too hot , windy and packed )
What i feel : Groundless nonsense , just sit and eat
2nd 
Customers that totally have no table manners . Example ( A dozen of used food stacked like a hill on the table ) 
What i feel : Typical Singaporeans , i may do the same * Laughs * at least dumped it on a plate or something 
3rd 
Customers that doesn't want to pass the servers the used plates ( It's difficult for turnovers when there's stacking of plates )
There's a difference when a table spreaded out with different and numerous kinds of coloured plates and a table stacked with 5 plates or more
What i feel : What to do . my job

Charcoal Sender ( I Don't Cook )
1st
One shot . 5 tables needed for charcoal . Tiring 
What i feel : just don't hope for this kind of situation , it tires me easily
2nd
Customers that doesn't want the tables , wants a change when the charcoal is already in the depths of the table . I have to shift
What i feel : If it's really not crowded or 5th customer table . i don't mind . This is actually okay
3rd 
Clearing of charcoal at 9PM . There's a specific time to clear . AND there's a lot of tables 
What i feel : The worse part of a charcoal man 

Not complaining but these are the ... Not sure how to say . Love my job and colleagues !

Now it's already the month of November ! I found at job at Sakura . Charcoal Grilled And Shabu Shabu at the Punggol Marina Country Club . It's very deserted and you have to take a special shuttle bus to go there . My job is considered quite tiring compared to my other friends's job examples : Retail assistant , cashier , promoter , waiter . I'm a  waiter but a special waiter that has to do 3 times work then a ordinary who simply just takes order and collect used plates . I'm a waiter that has to alert is there any customers stacking of plates ? Steamboat drying up ? Burned wire mesh ? Enough soup to pour for the customers who want extras ? Yes i do all these . And once they left , i have to clear all the plates , burned wire mesh , steamboat and lastly clean the stained marks on the table . But one thing i i don't do is I DO NOT TAKE ORDERS . My 1st day of work was rather tiring , unmotivated , feel like giving up and pissed . But phew i overcome them within 5 days . And now i love my job ! But reality is really harsh for me during the 5 days . Working is so tiring and the money is so little barely enough to feed me a month . Now i finally understand my parent's burden . But they're worse , they have to stick to their job till they retire in their 60s . One mistake is enough to pack your files and off YOU GO . Their stress level is 5 times of mine . Sighs , i will never ask them for money to pursue my materialistic goods and clothes . GUYS out there ! Don't think working is easy ! there's a level of stress and anger . TIL THE NEXT TIME SMILESSS

Sometimes , i really wonder am i studying real hard . I see my primary school friend who's now in one of the top notch secondary schools mugging like crazy just for 'O' Levels . 40 Over essays to memorise , 12 hours of science to perfection , tons of trial papers in just a week and mastery of no carelessness in e maths and additional maths . It's hell for them , but it's even more hell than me . Like 5 times the hell ? I don't even bother memorising 40 essays of Social studies and history , 2 hours of science and trial papers ? I just  take my own sweet time and do and sometimes , i don't give a damn at all . Secondary 5 will be a tough year for me in this heated and intense competition with the muggers from the top notch secondary schools . Especially students from Catholic High , ACSI and SJI . I shall swear that i will work triple the times during my Secondary 5 Year to be on par with these hardcore students . Til the next time guys !

My upcoming exams are near ! In a blink of an eye , it's already the month August . Guess what it means ? I only have one month more to my National Examinations consisting for English , Chinese and Social Studies . I had already done my Social Studies and English Preliminary Exams , Well it was pretty smooth for Social Studies and no comments on English , it really depends on your luck and constant practices . If you wanna ask me about my Chinese Oral , forget it . I so call " Screw it " as i skip 6 to 8 words in the passage and my conversation was a flop . I didn't even know what is ambition in Chinese . 
Chinese Teacher : Se mo shi ni de zhi yuan ? 
Me : Zhi yuan ? * Stunned for 5-10 Seconds *
Chinese Teacher : Zhi yuan shi " Ambition "
Me : In my head : Damn , screw it . Minus mark , wo yao zuo yi ge shu qian de ren ?
Chinese Teacher : Shi kua ji shi ma ?
Me : *Damn* screw it , chance of failing 60% shi arh
Forget about it , that's what i have to blog about today 
 

Come to think when i'm secondary 4 , i'm much vainer than before . I'm craving for luxurious items such as getting a Louis Vuitton Wallet , A Prada Sling Bag and many more ! Oh wait , a leather jacket too ! . This is how much i have changed . Okays , i shall move on what's important for me now is that my "N" Level Chinese Oral is just round the corner . 12 more nail biting days to go and furthermore my oral is on Friday ,a day for me to go home and catch my favourite music bank  performances . I shall put a full stop here and train my chinese fluency . Til the next time guys !

What shall i blog about today ? I want to share with you guys about my top Korean bands and groups for 2010 . If you're trying to say that Korean Pop sucks or what ever , just fucking leave my blog . So far 2010 , the top boy group would be 2ONEDAY . 2ONEDAY is a group consisting of 2PM and 2AM . Both groups are under JYP Entertainment . Why do i like 2PM ? Not cause i'm a gay or fag , is because their dance moves is one of the coolest out of so many male groups . Even i want learn from them especially the song Again And Again . Great synchronisation and locking moves . That's the reason why they rose up to fame a lot faster than other male groups , just in 2 years time ! while others had to take 5 years or more . But for 2AM , they fall in the ballad category . Yes , they aren't so popular as 2PM as they don't dance but they have great vocals . They debuted earlier than 2PM but their popularity isn't as high as 2PM . Main reason : not beastly idols but rather gentle princes. But i still like them because of their calm and smoothing ballad songs especially : Confessions Of A Friend and I Did Wrong . These songs are able to make me release my stress and put me to sleep . This is my ranking for my top 5 male and female groups
